Pair of Daiwa Mission 12ft Carp Fishing Rods – Mismatched Test Curve Tips

✅ DESCRIPTION

A pair of preloved Daiwa Mission 12ft carp fishing rods in excellent overall condition, both appearing to have seen very little use.

However, there is an important issue with this pair which we want to make absolutely clear. Cost £89.99 each when new 

Both butt sections are identical 12ft 2.5lb test curve models and should originally have been matched with 2.5lb test curve tip sections.

At some point there has clearly been a mix-up, and the rods are currently supplied with:

✔ 1 x 2.5lb test curve tip section
✔ 1 x 2.75lb test curve tip section

The 2.75lb tip fits the 2.5lb butt section correctly, and cosmetically you would struggle to notice the difference – the guides and ring spacing appear identical. However, it is nevertheless a different test curve, and we are therefore selling the pair at a reduced price to reflect this.

Both rods feature quality Fuji Japan reel seats and are lovely examples of these classic Daiwa Mission carp rods.

Both rods are in excellent preloved condition and appear to have seen very little fishing use.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING

Although the two butt sections are identical 2.5lb test curve models, one of the supplied tip sections is 2.75lb rather than the correct 2.5lb.

The 2.75lb tip fits the butt correctly, and cosmetically the difference is extremely difficult to notice, but its action/test curve will obviously be slightly different.

This has been fully disclosed and reflected in the asking price.
